The Perfect Cafetière Coffee

This will help you get the most out of your coffee - 

First, pre warm your Cafetière with a little boiling water. Empty the water out and use one dessert spoonful of coffee per person. Never use boiling water because it can scald the coffee, let the kettle rest a little before pouring on the water. Next just pour enough water over the coffee to cover it and just a little more. Leave the coffee like this just for a minute or so to let the flavours from the coffee bloom. Give it a gentle stir, then top up the water and put the plunger on. Now, leave for no more than 4 or 5 minutes before you plunge the coffee. If you leave it too long the coffee can become very bitter... Enjoy
